CEFN LEA PARK

Please take a look at the information below from Cefn Lea Park Conference Centre to ensure your safety and assist us in the smooth running of the conference.
A FEW RULES FOR CEFN LEA PARK (from the conference centre administration)
No pets allowed except guide dogs
~Alcohol is not permitted in the Main Complex or within the outside grounds.
~Anyone found with non-prescription drugs or excess alcohol will be asked to leave the site.
~Smoking (including vaping) is not permitted in the Main Complex, or in any of the Chalets, ~Leisure homes or the Bungalow.
~Please observe the 10mph speed limit.
~Please keep roads clear at all times for emergency vehicles. To avoid serious accidents, vehicles should not be parked on slopes. Please also do not park on the grass.
~No rollerblading, skateboarding or cycling in any buildings or without lights after dark. Please also take care during the daytime.
~Ensure children are supervised at all times. All children under 18 are the responsibility of parents, guardians, teachers or youth leaders.
~Please do not use outdoor play areas between dusk and dawn.
~Tents/awnings should be at least 15ft apart. ~Awnings left up are at owner’s risk.
~Please keep to land belonging to Cefn Lea during walks, and ensure all gates are closed behind you. Do not walk along the main road.
~The ponds in the nature reserve are not safe for swimming.
~Please respect other guests and keep noise to a minimum during the hours of 10:00pm and 8:00am.

Wi-Fi
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the main reception and available to purchase in the rest of the complex, Chalets, Bungalow & Leisure Homes.

Drinks and Snack Machines
A selection of drinks and snacks can be purchased from the vending machines in the reception area. A change machine is also located here which accepts cash or contactless payments.
Items available from reception
Irons and hairdryers can be obtained with no charge from the reception.
Travel cots can be hired for £6 each. We stock a small range of essential toiletries. Again, please ask at reception.
First Aid
The First Aid is situated at reception. Local doctors can be contacted by calling Newtown surgery on Tel: 01686 611611. For non life threatening emergencies call 111. Call 999 where life is at risk. A map and further information of closest A&E’s is available at reception.
Reception Telephone
There is an telephone located on the reception desk. This can be used for emergency calls and also to contact reception staff when the reception is unmanned. Please ask at reception if you wish to make any personal calls.
Post
The Post is collected from reception at around 10am each day except Sundays and Bank Holidays. Guests mail that arrives will be placed on the reception desk.
Electric Car Charging
There are four EV charging points located at the top of the main car park. You may be required to download the Project EV Pro App to manage your charging session. Instructions are on the Charger unit. The cost will be linked to our electricity rate – currently 72p/kWh.
Please do not charge your vehicle from your accommodation via a standard 13 Amp socket.
Disability Facilities
The park is situated directly off the main road. As you drive into the tarmacked car park, disabled parking spaces are on your left, next to the main complex entrance. The main entrance with electric doors takes guests directly into the spacious reception. All areas (except the boardroom) can be accessed from the ground level. The dining rooms, conference rooms and other areas all have wide or double doors and are all spacious. The disabled toilet and shower and baby changing room is situated off the reception hall. A lift is also available providing access between the ground and lower floor. Designated accommodation is modified for wheelchair access.
Laundry
A laundry room is located in the main complex. Washing machines and dryers are available at reasonable prices. Ironing facilities are also available from reception for you to use.
Lost Property
All items found on site will be placed in lost property and kept for 14 days only. Minimum charge for returning lost property is £5.00. Items not claimed will be given to charity.
