GETTING TO CEFN LEA BY CAR
From the North:
As you enter Newtown continue on the A483 over the Newtown Bypass towards Llandrindod Wells. Stay on A483 for 5.5 miles until you see Cefn Lea sign on the right.
From the South:
As you travel from the south pick up the A483 in Llandrindod Wells for 20 miles until you see the Cefn Lea entrance on the left.
GETTING TO CEFN LEA BY BUS
The Traws Cymru T4 bus service is a direct link between Cardiff and Newtown, passing through Dolfor every 2 hours. The T4 bus route passes the site entrance several times a day from Newtown. Request the driver to stop at Cefn Lea Park.
GETTING TO CEFN LEA BY TRAIN
The local train station is Newtown in Powys, on the Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth line. The station is about six miles from Cefn Lea, with taxis here at reasonable rates.
GETTING TO CEFN LEA BY AIR
The nearest Airports are Liverpool and Manchester, with rail links to Newtown, or readily available car rental. Birmingham is slightly further, but with good transport links. Newtown is on the main Cambrian Railway line with an hourly service from Birmingham International.
GETTING TO CEFN LEA BY FERRY
The nearest Ferry terminals are Liverpool or Holyhead.
