Opportunities for Service
The Covenanter International Holiday Conference can not operate without your help! Please see below for some of the many ways in which you could offer service during CefnLea2026.
Precenting during meetings or Psalm singing times
Welcoming and ushering at meetings so that all find seats
Offering help to those who may need special assistance
Serving coffee and tea at break times
Helping in the creche or other children’s meetings
Being available at mealtimes to carry a tray for someone in need
Providing transport to and from Newtown train station for travellers
Providing medical care or firstaid for those attending the conference
Children’s Ministry Team
The Covenanter International Holiday Conference offers a unique opportunity for ministry and discipleship to the children within our own church family. We are looking for those within our denomination who are willing to use their gifts to lead the child care sessions each day, build relationships with the children attending, and direct them to the truths of the Gospel for life beyond the CefnLea2026!
This is a challenging, yet hugely rewarding role that we long to see being taken on board! As a conference committee we are looking for those who have a willingness to serve, and a heart for the work to invest in this valuable role.
Training
Your role will include:
attendance at some training and organising meetings prior to the conference if possible.
Preparation
Your role will include: preparing crafts, Psalm singing, sharing a bible story or message, Bible studies and games for children’s sessions.
Enthusiasm
Your role will include: showing enthusiasm for the children at the conference, attending daily sessions and getting to know the children who attend.
Prayer
Your role will include: feedback sessions and prayer times specifically for this work during the conference week, with the potential to share accommodation with other members of the team.
Those who join this team will also have the opportunity to be part of all other aspects of the conference such as family worship times, afternoon and evening activities. Applicants must be 18+ and acceptance will be subject to completion of child protection training.
